DESCRIPTION:It's the Grantsville National Road Festival from May 17 - 20\, 2023.\n\n\n\nCelebrate the heritage of the Historic National Road. \n\n\n\nWednesday\, May 17\, 2023\n\nAppalachian Chef's Dinner and History Presentation with Bonfire Jam Session presented by the Cornucopia Caf .\n\nThe Cornucopia Caf  and Chef Martin Galloway's take on historic and contemporary recipes from the "Grub to Gourmet" cookbook\, published by the National Road Heritage Corridor.\n\nDinner at 5:00pm with National Road history presentation from Frank Walizer\, US Marine Corps veteran and French & Indian War re-enactor.\n\nBonfire and picking jam session led by Snaggy Mountain Slackards following dinner! (free and open to the public\, sponsored by Grantsville Arts & Entertainment District)\n\n$45 per guest. A portion of each ticket will benefit Grantsville Revitalization Organization. Price includes sales tax and gratuity. Cash bar available.  Purchase tickets \n\n\n\nSaturday\, May 20\, 2023\n\nGrantsville National Road & Town-Wide Yard Sale and Park Activities Saturday\, May 20\, 2023 from 8 am- 4 pm. \n\n\n\nGrantsville National Road Festival - Northern High School Drama Historic Monologues Saturday\, May 20\, 2023 at 11 am. Under the tutelage of Jennifer Virts\, the young actors have researched and created monologues on their favorite Historical Garrett County figures. The monologues will be presented in the Amphitheater at the Grantsville Town Park. The program is sponsored and supported by the Grantsville Arts & Entertainment District. \n\n\n\nGrantsville National Road Festival Car Show with Mountain Top Cruisers Saturday\, May 20\, 2023 at 12 pm. \n\nThe first car show of the Grantsville National Road Festival will start at noon on Saturday May 20\, in the parking lot next to CarQuest. Visit our food trucks in the park\, and stay for live music at 1 pm with Fret Buzz.
