This ?how-to" course teaches students the techniques to assemble and decorate tiered "tall" cakes. Learn how to properly stack and build cakes with pillars without the fear of collapsing or sinking into each other. The correct method to transport, in addition to serving and storing tiered cakes, will also be discussed. The course is being taught by Bonnie Goebel, Wilton instructor. Session one will be a demonstration and session two will be hands-on with students deciding which style of cake they would like to create. If a stack cake is chosen, dowel rods for support will need to be purchased by the student. If a tiered cake is desired, the student will need to purchase pillars and plates.
