Festival of Trees
The Festival of Trees is being held Thanksgiving Weekend, Friday, November 25 and Saturday, November 26, 2011 from 10 am - 8 pm. It is being held at a NEW LOCATION at the Fairgrounds Exhibit Hall in McHenry, MD. Admission is $5 and $3 for children. Special Dove Center 20th Anniversary Offer, pay admission on Friday and return Saturday for FREE! All day Friday and Saturday you can stroll through decorated trees, wreaths, swags, centerpieces, table decor, gingerbread houses, unique arts and crafts, make your own sundae and there will be Silent Auctions both days! Free activities will be Kris Kringle's Karaoke, pictures with Santa & Friends, decorate cookies at Santa's Bakery, Reindeer Games, Frosty's Funland and others. Friday specials will be "Breakfast with Santa" at 9 am ($10 Special Ticket includes admission) and a Live Auction at 6 pm with Auctioneer Joe Friend. Bid on your favorite tree, holiday decorations and gifts. Saturday specials will be Free entertainment with Jessica's Dance Creations: Xtreme Cheerleading, Dance and Gymnastics and Dancing Classrooms Western Maryland with Jennifer Christophel.
Proceeds benefit the Dove Center.
