**Out-of-County Regional Event**
Ruth Blackwell Rogers has lived and painted in Randolph County, West Virginia, for over forty years. Her current exhibit, "Forest Types", now showing at the ArtSpring Gallery in Thomas, WV features paintings that celebrate a particular forest type from around the world, including the forest here in West Virginia: the Temperate Deciduous Forest. Others depicted are the Boreal Forest, the Tropical Rain Forest, the Mediterranean Forest, the Coniferous Forest, the Cloud Forest, the salt water swamp forest, and the Savannah or Parkland Forest
