Scott is an acoustic guitarist, harmonica player and singer who has a performance career of more than 20 years. Raised in a musical family, Scott studied classical piano from age five. In his teens he took an interest in guitar and after many months of teaching himself how to play he discovered he was playing left handed on a right-handed guitar (called “gypsy style” by some). Though this is not how the guitar was designed to be played and does make some finger contortions and picking a little trickier he chose to adapt to this unconventional style. Scott has stayed true to his passion for great music and continues to be inspired by past and recent popular songwriters of contemporary music. He has a repertoire of more than 700 songs. He also writes his own music occasionally, in hopes of composing some gems like so many great artists of the last 50 years.
