The Hazelton Microtel "Backwoods Boots Camp" Adventure Race
The Mountaineer Area Rescue Group, a volunteer search and rescue organization, is hosting a 12 hour backwoods adventure race near Camp Dawon in Preston County. Teams of 2-3 will compete with biking, hiking/running, orienteering, raft build/paddling and a tyrolean crossing on the Cheat River. This is an Official UAARA event. Proceeds benefit the Mountaineer Area Resuce Group which serves West Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania in search and rescue efforts.
