Contributing Writer

The Lakefront Magazine, Garrett County & Deep Creek Lake, MD's original monthly print magazine, is seeking a Contributing Writer on a freelance/contract basis. You'll research and write engaging articles on local events, dining, businesses, real estate, and community happenings around Deep Creek Lake. This is a great opportunity for a local writer who loves storytelling and community journalism. Responsibilities include pitching story ideas, meeting deadlines, providing original photography, and collaborating with our editorial team. Prior writing/journalism experience preferred.
