    About Us

    Dr. Daniel Herring is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine where he also completed a one year fellowship in pathology. His post graduate work includes an internship at Connemaugh Memorial Hospital in Johnstown, PA. He completed his dermatology residency at Roger Williams Medical Center, a major affiliate of Boston University, where he served as chief resident during his final year. Dr. Herring completed his undergraduate work at West Virginia University and obtained a master?s degree in Occupational Therapy prior to attending medical school.
    His professional interests are general dermatology, cancer of the skin, cutaneous surgery and cosmetic dermatology. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, the American Society of Dermatological Surgeons and the American Medical Association. He became Board Certified in 2010 with the American Board of Dermatology. He splits his time between the Cumberland and Oakland, MD offices.

    Dr. Herring is a native of Uniontown, PA, he currently lives in Cumberland, MD with his wife, Chris. Dr. Herring is an avid outdoorsman, he enjoys hunting, sporting clays, fishing, whitewater rafting and kayaking.
