About Us

The DCVFC is 100% all volunteer providing fire and rescue services to the residents and visitors of Garrett County. We are a full-service Company that provides water rescue services as well.

Mr. Mark Clookie

Mark Clookie is a retired law enforcement executive with nearly 40 years of local, federal and international law enforcement experience. He is also the co-founder of Prevention Now, a not for profit entity working throughout the U.S. to prevent human trafficking and exploitation. Mark currently serves as the Assistant Chief of the Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Company in McHenry, MD. He is also a volunteer Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) for Southern Garrett County Rescue Squad.
