About Us

Since our beginnings in 2001, we have grown and evolved into a valuable community asset. Passion makes the difference in what we do and we’re proud to see how our young staff have grown, through the years, to become both TCH and Deep Creek ambassadors. Our baristas stay current by attending coffee shows and keeping up with national coffee shop trends to make sure this is a home away from home, no matter how far you’ve traveled. In this spirit, we’re always on the look-out for the talent, personality, commitment and enthusiasm it takes to make good things happen at Trader’s.

Making a great cup of coffee is a first priority, but we’re also committed to making the world a better place… one cup at a time. We always have and always will use eco-conscious products for carry-out and dine-in containers. From compostable, to recycled and recyclable, to plant-based products, we share in the responsibility to preserve the environmental with the larger community. One way we support that cause is in our relationships with local produce sources. Garrett Growers, a local cooperative is produce at its very best! Between June and October we source and enjoy fresh lettuce, tomatoes, potatoes, onions, strawberries and whatever else we need from local farmers around our county.

Trader’s Coffee House is located just over the bridge from McHenry, MD at Trader’s Landing, along route 219, 10 miles north of Oakland. Find us on the lower level of Brenda’s Pizzeria, beside their new Take-Out storefront!
